About the Spots:
My name is Dr. Todd S. Bindig, Ph.D. Many people on the Pro-Life side of the abortion debate have a hard time answering the arguments of those who stand on the other side of this issue. Most of these individuals come at us with the same “sound-bites” and emotion-driven arguments, which, though persuasive to many, are rationally groundless. What is important to remember is that the only rationally defensible position in the abortion debate is the Pro-Life position. I have always felt that there are quick and simple responses to every argument that attempts to defend the moral permissibility of abortion or attacks the Pro-Life position. “That’s how Simple it is” is a series of 30 second spots offering the listener simple and rational responses to some of the most commonly given arguments supporting the permissibility of abortion and attacking the Pro-Life position.
Bio:
Dr. Todd S. Bindig, Ph.D. completed his education at the University at Buffalo in 2007. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the American Catholic Philosophical Association. He has published scholarly articles in Linacre Quarterly, the journal of the Catholic Medical Association, New Blackfriars, American Theological Inquiry, and The Human Life Review along with his first book: Identity, Potential and Design: How they Impact the Debate over the Morality of Abortion (currently available at Amazon.com). He has taught Philosophy at such schools as Niagara University and the University at Buffalo, and, in extensive public speaking engagements, has forcefully argued against the moral permissibility of abortion. He currently lives in East Aurora, NY with his wife and their 7 children.
